Jowers | Vargas is helping multiple top US firms in Hong Kong hire mid-level (3rd year+) M&A / PE associates with full business fluency in Mandarin.
We have seen offers in 2022 at the New “Cravath” payscale in Hong Kong (i.e. first years at $215k) and there remains a strong appetite for a mid-level associate that can “hold the pen” on key parts of an M&A / PE transaction.
While candidates with a mixed background (i.e. M&A and other areas of the law) will be considered, they must all have significant M&A experience to qualify for these roles.You would be eligible for a COLA on top of Cravath base + bonus for all these roles.
